The Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve is managed by the local public high school board of directors, it turns this tour into an activity with social – community responsibility.

The 310 hectares’ reserve, founded in 1992 offers a big variety of flora and wildlife, besides it is located in the Caribbean slope of Costa Rica and thanks to this fact, you can observe the Arenal volcano and its lake when it is not cloudy. Additionally, the Santa Elena Reserve receives fewer visitors, which positions the activity as the ideal for those who enjoy less crowded sites.
