The Ecological Sanctuary unifies the Monteverde essence in the same place, it has trails, viewpoints, water cascades, coffee and banana plantations, as well as the great variety of flora and fauna species. This tour was born more than two decades ago, with the premise of preserving the biodiversity that host these 30 hectares of this primary and secondary forest, located in the Pacific Watershed of Monteverde.

The farm is run by a Costa Rican family and its main activity is the “ecotourism”, hence its interest in creating conservation programs in order to preserve and regenerate this forest. It is important to mention that the entrance fee is the only means for this project to stay alive.

Tropical Forest night walk with its sounds and sights, will be part of a unique experience.
